A legend has passed in time! After a very short time of illness, our beloved Qita (MultiCh BIS BISS BISS-Veteran Nikita) is now gone, 11 years old. She was a wonderful dog, loved by us and admired the world over, she will forever be in our hearts !

Qita came to us in 2004, a year old. She did not come from a recognized breeder, but was the result of a breeder with no registered name, breeding ony for money.  We met her on a sh0w with her current owner and three days later she was sleeping in our bed! From day one she was considered a “dark horse”, but she hit the crested circles like a bolt from blue sky. She quickly took her Swedish Champion title, then she took her Norwegian, Finnish, Danish and International Champion title at the first attempt. Qita was not only groundbreaking for the powder puff’s status but for the whole breed. She wrote breed history by becoming the first powder puff ever to win Best In Show at a SDHK exhibition. She was also the first powder puff ever to win Group 9 on a SKK-show (only one othe PP has managed BOG to date), and she was placed in the n Best In Show competition (BIS 4), which she still is the only powderpuff to have succeeded! In addition to this, she was Powder Puff Of The Year 2007 and 2009!

In 2010 she was Best In Show at the CC Club Summer Specialty Show in Borås, 7 years old, in 30 degrees celcius heat and with over 100 entered cresteds. This under well-respected Allround judge Harry Tast! The year before, she was Reserve BISS, Best Female and Best Puff at the CC Specialty Show in Alfta under breed specialist Jenny Gorwill!

She has been on the Chinese Crested Club leaderboards eight years of 10 as an active show dog, just in 2004 as a junior and 2012 when she only attended for two shows. She has several BIS-placements in Sweden and also BIS placeing in Finland and Denmark. Not bad for a small dog from the dark woods up in the north! Besides her amazing show career as she had also a, not too successful, career on the agility course, and it was not because she didn’t know the obstacles. Qita has always, since day one been Birgitta’s shadow and eye servant, so she simply ran of the course out to Birgitta after three obsticles into the race. Should be emphasized that this never happened during training, but well on her official races. She was a lady who knew what she would prioritize! She also had time for a litter, the ’Seasons’ litter, where we saved her son Mozes. Through him we received our first homebred champion, SWECH FINCH LTCH Christmas Cup Winner 2010 Sirocco Sad Like Winter Leaves!

Qita was such a dog you only get once in a lifetime! She has made her mark on dog people and ordinary people around the world! Thanks to everyone who, in one way or another, shown her appreciation!Qita we will always have you in our memories, words can not express how much we miss you our queen!
