Summary Of 2014

As usual the new year starts with a summary of the most important happenings during the past year, both happy and sad moments. 2014 we celebrated 15 years with the lovely breed that is Chinese Crested Dog! As always we can’t believe all the amazing ashievements both dogs and owners has made during the year and we couldn’t be prouder! Also a huge thank you to all our friends and to all the judges who has appreciated our dogs! And to ZiwiPeak who has chosen to sponsor us with their great natural food which our dogs love! Now we are looking forward to 2015!

Rookies Of The Year

One litter of six puppies saw the light of day at Villa Sirocco during 2014, the ”Norse Riders” litter born the 13th of june. Mother of the litter was our amazing Multich BIS Brood Bitch Of The Year 2014 Vanitonia Rumor Has It and father was Maybell’s Lord Of The Rings. Out of this litter we kept a hairless little black crazy horse, Sirocco Omen Over Northumbria aka Aska! For more info about the litter klick HERE!

Over the Rainbow Bridge

2014 haven’t been all fun and games though. Two of our dearest family members left us with holes in our hearts; Qita (MultiCh BIS BISS Veteran-BISS Nikita) and Troll (Flywheel’s Beauty). Troll was our first crested, the one who opened the door for us to this very special breed. She was really one of a kind, a special little lady tough even after her 15th birthday. She will continue to show her personality through her grand children and great grand children, MultiCh DKW-14 NordW-14 Sirocco Jealousy Breeds Envy, MultiCh Sirocco Welcome To The Black Parade & Ch Sirocco White Trash Circus who lives with us and all her other progeny around the globe. When writing this eight new great great grand children have just seen the day of light in the far north of Norway, out of her great grand child Sirocco Mortal Sinful Lust. We are sure that Troll will shine through even there!

Qita, the amazing, lovely and totally irreplaceable powder puff and companion! Not many cresteds in this world could compete with her being, she was and still is world reknown! She wrote breed history by becoming the first powder puff ever to win Best In Show at a SDHK exhibition. She was also the first powder puff ever to win Group 9 on a SKK-show (only one othe PP has managed BOG), and she was placed in the n Best In Show competition (BIS 4), which she still is the only powderpuff to have succeeded! In addition to this, she was Powder Puff Of The Year 2007 and 2009! On top of that she was also BISS at the CC Specialty in 2010! She will always be remembered and we’ll keep her in our hearts forever! You can read more about her amazing being HERE!

Highlights Of The Year

The show team 2014 consisted of Thea (MultiCh DKW-14 NordW-14 Sirocco Jealousy Breeds Envy), Viska (Sirocco Endless Locks Of Eventide), Rossi (Ch Sirocco Greedy Hands Of Man) co-owner Niklas Enerstedt, Ozzy (Sirocco Sweet But Wicked Dwelling) co-owner Eva Söderqvist and Alice (Sirocco Gaze Upon Penumbra) co-owner Eva Olofsson Åberg and at some shows Charlie (Ch Sirocco Welcome To The Black Parade) and Chibi (MultiCh BIS Vanitonia Rumor Has It) joined us. During the year we also got two new Swedish, one Finnish, one Norwegian, one Danish Champion, two Bulgarian, one Georgian one Turkish, one Nordic and two International Champions! On top of that pile of champion titles Sirocco dogs have also been awarded Group First and BIS Reserve, BIS Breeders Group, BIS Progeny Group, BIS Reserve at Västerbottens region/states most beautiful dog, Specialty BIS, Specialty BIS Junior, Nordic Winner 2014 and Danish Winner 2014!
